Anyway, I've got my top ten back under control. You'll see in the earlier post linked above that I seemed to have come up with what was for me an entirely new composition of my ten favorite movies. That was all fine and good, and I would have been content to keep it that way. Except Alexander kept calling me. Alexander has been my favorite movie for seven years, and it does not want to give up the spot, even to Quentin Tarantino. Alexander stars my favorite actor, Colin Farrell, and is directed by my favorite director, Oliver Stone. It has a terrific cast, terrific music, and a terrific story (no matter how it's arranged; there are three distinct cuts to enjoy). It is generally despised by everyone else. But it is still my favorite movie, no matter how much flickchart wants to manipulate things.

I screwed around with that for a few hours. It kept stubbornly insisting my favorite movie was "Donnie Darko." I mean I like it but it's not my favorite movie ever by a long shot.
I still have yet to see Donnie Darko.
Bring back the Quentin Tarantino! Lol. Your revised list has some movies I am yet to see, and some I haven't seen in ages. In the realm of the books, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is definitely my favorite. But when it comes to the movies, I'd have to bestow that honor to Deathly Hallows (or Deathly Hallows Part 1if I'm to be more specific).
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban has always been my favorite book, but the sheer adventure and emotion of the Goblet of Fire film adaptation captivates me.
Great list and Star Wars is a lifelong favorite. Ill have to try Flickchart sometime.
As PT Dilloway suggests (and I keep saying), it will take hours away from your life. But's a good kind of addiction, I think.
